Walter Brant III Obituary

Walter Brant III of Yakima, age 81, passed away due to illness on October 22, 2012. He was born on April 6, 1931 to Mildred and Walter Brant II in Kimball, Ohio. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Korea and Japan as a jet mechanic. After being honorably discharged Walter became an electrician for Pacific Power and Light. Eventually he settled in the Yakima Valley and proudly retired from PPL after 20 years of service.
Walter is survived by his sons Rick, Doug, and Scott Brant; his daughter Kathy Kirch; grandchildren Kody Kirch, Jessica, Matthew, Katelynn, Kiley, and Miranda Brant; his great-grandchildren Wyatt and Luke Kirch, and Kylee and Austin Evans; and his brother Edgar Brant of Ohio.

At Walter's request a Memorial Service will be held at a later date in California.
Merritt Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
