Obituary

KEENAN, Walter "PeeWee", 91, entered into rest July 18, 2014. PeeWee was born in Greensburg, Penn., he came to Valrico in 1980 with his wife Joan Gentile Keenan. He was a member of the American Legion, Elks Club, Knights of Columbus, and Nativity Catholic Church. Walter was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II. He was known for his lawn service at Featherock, and a daily diner at Ben's Family Restaurant. He is survived by his sister, Grace Marino; sister-in-law, Rose Zaremba; several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Nativity Catholic Church, in the Chapel. The family will receive friends 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Stowers Funeral Home
