Walter E. Langdon, 96, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 18 at Bayshore Healthcare in Holmdel. Born and raised in Staten Island, he moved to Toms River, NJ in 1988, and then to Holmdel, NJ 2 1/2 years ago. He was a mechanic for United States Gypsum in Staten Island for over 25 years retiring in 1975. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War; and he was a member of the American Legion, and the VFW.
