Wanda M Rowan, age 77, of Independence, Mo passed away June 17, 2017. Visitation, Tuesday June 20, 2017 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Service Wed., June 21, 2017, 10:30am. All services at Newcomers Noland Road Chapel. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
She is survived by daughter, Jackie Adkins, Son, Robin and wife Lorretta Rowan. Granddaughters, Shanna York, Christina Elliott, Lauren Cunningham, Rebecca Hamilton. Great grandchildren, Rowan, Brody, Ava, Wyatt, Noah, Lilah, Norah, Macallister and Jude.
Preceded in death by husband Gene Rowan, son Jay Rowan, sister Jo Ann Hall, brothers, Don Carlock, Dale Carlock. Parents Charles & Iva Carlock.

Wanda you were so awesome at one of my Halloween parties she had a red wig on after about an hour she said you don't know who you have been talking too.I'm Wanda I was shocked how different she looked then she changed her beautiful white hair to red for real...must have had a lot of good comments on the red hair it does give you peachy coloring...she may have been a red head at one time always had that great silver white hair that I will try to remember her for but that red wig sure stands out....love you girl.
