Wanda Lee Dozier passed away peacefully on March 7, 2014, at the age of 86, with her loving husband of 68 years, Donald Dozier, by her side. She was born on November 2, 1927, in Chester, West Virginia, the daughter of Thomas Clifford Powell and Sylvia Powell. She moved to California with Don and their children in 1956, where she lived a long and happy life.
Wanda was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her children, Donald Dozier, Jr. and Sharon Holland, her five grandchildren, Heather Dozier, Brannon McEvers, Donald Dozier, Autumn McEvers, and Sky McEvers, her three brothers, Thomas Powell, Earl Powell, and Ervan Hickman, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be held on March 13, 2014, at 10:00 a.m Viewing and 11:00 Chapel Service, at Green Acres Mortuary, located at 11715 Cedar Avenue, Bloomington, CA 909-877-2311.
