Wanda was born on January 17, 1926, in Santa Monica, Ca., and passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013, in Fresno, Ca. Following graduation from University of California, Los Angeles and completion of her physical therapy training at Loma Linda University, she moved to Fresno where she met Lynwood Lentell. They were married almost 60 years, and had two sons. In her youth and young adulthood, Wanda was an avid hunter and fisherman. She also cared deeply for her many cats and other pets throughout her lifetime.
Wanda was predeceased by Lynwood; and her son Brian.
She is survived by her son Gary and his wife Ann and their daughters Amelia and Coreen Lentell and Rebecca Gottselig and her husband Robert.
The family thanks the staff of Evergreen Residential Services for their incomparable care of Wanda over the past year.
A private gathering to celebrate Wanda's life will take place in March. She will be interred in Harwich, Ma.
Remembrances may be made to any animal care shelter of choice.
