My grandparents had the most amazing memories. They could tell you names, dates and stories about all of their ancestors with near perfect recall. I am so grateful I had the chance to hear all of those stories whether it was the war stories or stories of playing with cousins when they were young. Love you grandpa. Holidays will not be the same without you.

Perhaps the greatest tribute to Warren's life is the strength and beauty of his children. We've benefitted greatly from his humor, strength of character, love of working with his hands through knowing Karen Cossman. Jane and I wish all the family, and especially Karen, the peace of understanding and celebration of Warren's life.

warren used to tease me about my VW saying it had a squirrel and rubber band to make it go! he also teased me about going barefoot all the time. we now live in their old house surrounded by memories. sitting out on the front porch warren built, cozy fires in the fireplace warren built. our wedding shower and reception were both held at the house. i will never forget how devoted warren was in caring for katie during her illness. that is true love. he will be missed....

I'll always remember Warren for his "war" stories that he shared whenever someone would listen. He was a good cook and made fresh spaetzle for one visit. My thoughts are with the entire family at this time.
