I was blessed to have known Wayne. He had such a sense of humor it lit the room. I enjoyed learning to play spades with him and his lovely wife. ( little inside joke) But all in all he gave me something I will always remember....a piece of his heart. And he will always have a piece of mine.

I loved my Dad dearly...My favorite memory, from when I was very young, was when we went to Comb's Lake in Blowing Rock; We were walking around the lake and I was getting tired,so I asked my Dad this question-" Would you give me a ride on your shoulders,Dad? I'm Lazy."...Anyway,he laughed his butt off and of course he lifted me up on his shoulders and commenced to walking....Dad always reminded me of that day his whole life because it tickled him so much..And just like that day, until the day he died,Dad always tried his best to help me in anyway possible, with whatever problem I encountered.I miss you,Daddy, but I'll see you in Heaven.
