Alexander family,
Still thinking about Wayne's death and I am sure things are still tough for you all. My life changed the day I heard of his passing. Every day I hit the slopes, I hear his kind voice running through my head just like at Boler. It keeps me motivated to ski like he taught me. Wayne's still inspiring me every day and will never forget that man. I know he's looking down on all of us ski bums as he skis in peace. Love you buddy!

Cec,
I am so sorry for the loss you and the boys are going through.
Though my time with you and Shorthand was not long, it was fun and memorable and that's what I will always keep with me.
All the best to you and the boys.

Dear Cec, Davin, Mickel, Keegan & Alexander Family
We are all saddened by your loss. Wayne was a tremendous man in our world and we are all rocked by his passing but know he is no longer suffering.
I feel truly privileged to have had the opportunity to work, eat and of course laugh with Wayne and you Cec, in the early days at Chicopee. His warmth and committed friendship that he shared with so many, leaves us all with heavy hearts. He left his mark and he made a difference!
We will miss him but keep him in our memories for ever
Sadly I can not attend Wayne's celebration of life but will be there in my heart. I know it will be a true tribute to a great man.
Cec and family find strength in the fond memories friends that surround you and those of us who can only be there in our thoughts and wishes.
We pray for all of you during this time of grief and always.
Be well...

Cecily,
Wayne was such an incredible mentor to so many people and I am proud to say that I was one of them. There are not any words that make the pain you are suffering go away. The following definition of grief may help you embrace and understand the pain, "Grief is the price we pay for love" Wayne put a great deal of love into this world and we all share in the grief you are experiencing,
Brenda and I are frequently in different parts of the world ( I am presently in BC) but when we are home we would love to have you come out for a visit.

Cecily and family,
Often when I pass King Valley off the 400 I think of the Level I course held there in 78. It was freezing rain. Wayne's purple Gremlin was having trouble making it up the hill to the King Side Road. I think it was Rocket who pushed him up finally. Wayne helped us all to remember what ski teaching is really about and I will try to use his advice and his example, his wonderful ego-less approach, as the model for any young pros I'm lucky enough to work with and for myself. Seeing him always made us smile. Sorry I can't be with you on Saturday. I know it will be a big turnout, as he deserves, and I hope this big love will help ease your sadness. peace and love.

Cecily, Mickel, Davin & Keegan,
Wayne was such a kind and mellow guy, helpful, always upbeat and happy to chat. I remember him from London Minor Football games, Boler Mountain and your home. I am so sorry for your loss, and all who knew him will miss his kindness and positive energy, but I'm sure no one more than you. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Heaven will certainly be a lot more fun now.

I have known Wayne for almost 30 years through our working together on CSIA courses. I never passed up on doing a course with Wayne because that would mean passing up on a great time. They are some of my fondest memories and I am honoured to have had him as a friend. His outlook on life was the best and it will be truly missed.
I know that his joy of life and his love for his family will help you get through this sad time.

Cecily, Boys & Alexander Family:
I'm so sorry for the loss of Wayne. He was one of those few genuine people you meet in life that have a wonderful, warm long lasting impression.
We worked, lived and got our 'red rings' together at Chicopee. Many stories I can't share here!
A legend never to be forgotten.
