Mr. Wayne R. Bush, age 97 of St. Regis Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, April 15th at the Highland Nursing Home in Massena, NY. Friends may call at the Garner Funeral Service on Friday, April 18th from 7-9 pm. Graveside services with military honors will follow at a later date at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Parishville, NY. Wayne is survived by his daughters Elaine (Howard) LaVare of St. Regis Falls and Valora Waite of North Lawrence; sons Kim "Beaver" (Valerie) Bush of Moira, Timothy Bush of Moira, and Thomas (Sherry) Bush of Malone; son in law James Sullivan of Parishville; daughter in law Judy Bush of Bangor; sister Amelia Weems; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Wayne is predeceased by a his wife Marion Bush; son Marshall Bush; daughter Eileen Sullivan and several brothers and sisters.
Mr. Wayne R. Bush was born February 24, 1917 in Parishville, NY to the late Archibold and Elizabeth Bush. He attended Parishville schools. He served overseas in Germany for the United States Army during WWII. Upon his honorable discharge he returned to the states and on February 24, 1939 he was married to Marion Betty Stark. Wayne was a truck driver working for New York Limestone out of Wingdale, NY for many years and also spent some time farming.
He enjoyed hunting and playing his guitar. He was a member of the American Legion Post 939 in Brushton Moira. Online condolences can be sent @www.garnerfh.com.
