Alley, Wesley Clark, 85, of Bumpass, VA, passed away on November 9, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna A. Alley and son, Wesley Franklin Alley. He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Pearce (Raymond); seven grandchildren, Raymond Pearce III, Sean Pearce, Cynthia Clark, Katherine Frazier, Beth Goodman, Wesley Franklin Alley, Jr., and James Robert Alley; five great grandchildren, William Pearce, Meagan Frazier, Aidian Alley, Dixie Alley, and Jaxson Alley; and sister, Jayne Sprouse. After retiring from A&P Tea Co. with 40 years of service, he worked at Ukrop's in Ashland for about 17 years. He also served his country in the U.S. Navy for 2 years. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2013, at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA, where a funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Interment at Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover, VA.
