Weston Clark Fryatt - loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013. He was a native of Bakersfield, CA and a long time resident of Mobile, Alabama. Weston, a senior software engineer has worked for The SSI Group these last 12 years writing medical software that is used all over the country. Known as the "Guru" by his fellow co-workers, Weston taught himself how to program as a young teenager. Weston Clark Fryatt - loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013. He was a native of Bakersfield, CA and a long time resident of Mobile, Alabama.
Weston, a senior software engineer has worked for The SSI Group these last 12 years writing medical software that is used all over the country. Known as the "Guru" by his fellow co-workers, Weston taught himself how to program as a young teenager. During his career he worked for NASA and wrote software that is still used on the International Space Station. Weston was a member of the ARRL and held an "Extra Class" license in Amateur Radio. He was very active in the Ham radio community. He helped with the Emergency Training Net and was an FCC radio license teacher and tester. Weston's passion for photography was well documented in the beautiful pictures he took, especially his breathtaking landscapes. His hobbies included fishing, camping, stargazing and gaming, but his favorite activity was spending time with his family.
Weston is preceeded in death by his Mother, Susan Clark Fryatt, and is survived by his Father, William C.(Betty) Fryatt (CA), his wife Verna (Bozeman) Fryatt, a daughter Lindsey (Bradford) Barrow (Alec), two sons; Joshua Vernon Bradford, Donovan Clark Fryatt, one Grandson Ethan Joseph Barrow. Two brother-in-laws; Rick Bozeman (Margaret), Perry Bozeman (Kay), Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and countless Friends.
The Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, November 26, 2013 from 5 to 7pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 10:00 am from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. on Three Notch Rd. with interment in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers: Rickey Bozeman, Perry Bozeman, Brett Andrews, Michael Helphenstein, David Butt and Mike Sullivan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sam Sylvester, Taras Wertelecki, and Ricky Barnes.
