I was so saddened and shocked to read about Minnie's passing. I got to know Minnie while teaching kindergarten at Monsignor Leo Cleary. What a wonderful lady she was!! I always enjoyed the days that "Grandma" came to help in our busy classroom. I will always remember her gentle and kind ways with the children. When they saw her they would come running in saying, "Grandma's here, Grandma's here" and hug her around the legs. Minnie, you will always be a very special person in my heart.
My deepest sympathy to all who loved her.

Dear Ted, We were so sorry to read about the passing of Minnie. She was a neighbour of ours when she lived on Guelph St. and her children went to school with our kids,Richard,Lisa,Ray. While renovating our kitchen and over several dinner parties ,we loved to hear about your travels and shared ours. Wonderful memories are always a gift. With Sympathy,

My deepest sympathy to Ted and families of Minnie. Minnie had a beautiful gentleness with all the children of Monsignor Leo Clearly. She will be greatly missed.
When I met Minnie 7 or 8 years ago she shared many stories with me, how she cared for my brothers and sisters when my mom Else Schillings had her 8th child. What a kind and caring soul.
May Minnie and mom Else share an eternal life together as angels of God.
Sincerely, Maria Kraemer (nee Schillings)

To the family, we are deeply sorry to hear the passing of Wilhelmina.
Wilhelmina was a committed Lunchtime Supervisor and volunteer at our school, Monsignor Leo Cleary in Courtice, for years. She was so loved that the children began calling her 'Grandma", an endearing term that tells us how caring she was. Wilhelmina would always smile and was at every special event she could be at. "Grandma" was a loving and devoted individual to everyone around her. Thank you Wilhelmina for the invaluable work you gave to our children and staff. We have always thanked you in life and we lovingly remember you at this time. You are now among God's angels.
-Connie Rosario, Retired Principal, Monsignor Leo Cleary Elementary School

Brian, Colleen, Kristy, Kyle & Kurt - our heart felt sympathy goes out to you. Your mom (oma) was a wonderful person. We always enjoyed the times that we were together with you and Oma and Ted were visiting, especially the time we camped together in Gananoque and they fit in and kept up to the rest of us we had so much fun with them and our kids felt like they were Oma's grandkids as well. She had a huge heart for others and will be a valued angel. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love Suzanne, Rick, Hayley, Justin and Dawson Chapman
