Willa Ruth Toney 81 of Claypool Hill, VA passed away on Tuesday May 16, 2017. Born August 23, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Gladys Stover Thompson. In addition to her parents, Willa is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Dale Toney. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Ronnie Toney and wife, Theresa of Cedar Bluff, VA; granddaughter, Elizabeth Honaker and husband, Brandon; daughters, Debbie Graley and husband Jimmy of Clear Creek, WV, granddaughter, Bobbie Jo; Stephanie Mollohan and husband, Terry of Clear Creek, WV, grandson, Johnathan and wife Kayla, granddaughter, Maygon; Melonie Whitt and husband, Chris of Cedar Bluff, VA, granddaughter, Tessa; brother, Paul Thompson of Beckley, WV. Willa has six great-grandchildren, Brandon, Shayla, Ty, Phoebe, Brody and Sierra. Willa was a member of the Richland’s Church of God of Prophecy. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, going to church and being with her family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 19, 2017 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Rev. Gary Maynor officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
