William Thomas Stallings, a lifelong resident of Lubbock, TX passed away December 26, 2012 at the age of 74. He was born to Woodrow Wilson Stallings and Uda Beauchamp Stallings on October 17, 1938. He served as a Lubbock Police Officer for 29 ½ years (from August 1969 until his retirement in January 1996). Funeral services will be held Saturday December 29, 2012 at 1:00 in Resthavens Abbey Chapel. His family will receive friends Friday December 28, 2012 from 5-7pm at Resthaven.
He was preceded in Death by one Grandchild, Brady Wheatley, age 6, in 2000; one sister, Shirley Nobles in 2012.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 53 years, Thelma Stallings, and his 4 children, Tammy Quon and husband Stan of Federal Way, WA, Donna Stone and husband Rocky of San Angelo, TX, Jimmy Stallings and wife Brandi of Lubbock.TX, and Tommy Stallings and wife Trista of Friona, TX. He was also "Paw-Paw" to 8 living grandchildren, Dondee and Amanda; Haley, Sawyer and Avery; Taylor, Graci and Cason; one sister, Bobbie McLean, and one brother, Glenn Stallings, both of Lubbock.
Pallbearers will be; Rocky Stone, Stan Quon, Mike Garrett, Lonny Garrett, Monty McLean, and Tatum Stallings.
