Bill was my Dad's best friend at 10 Wilmington Place, as well as a friend of mine. He and his daughter came to Dad's funeral when he passed away last year at the age of 99. Bill and I were both train buffs (he used to work for the Monon Railroad), and I enjoyed talking about trains and other things when I visited him. I'll miss Bill very much - he was a great guy with a great attitude and love of life.

Sorry to hear of Mr. Martin's passing. Back in 2007 he signed my WWII Memorial book, "Bill Martin Capt. 1882nd Engineer Aviation Bn." While he lived at 10 Wilmington Place where my uncle Bill May and friend Mike Jacobs also lived and they got his signature for me. He was my 69th veteran to sign the book which now has more than 1,710 signatures. Again sorry to hear of Mr. Martin's passing...Bless Em All....Bless Em All... Jeffrey Miller Dayton Ohio
