William "Willie" David Campbell Jr, born June 2, 1937, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye DeBord Campbell; foster son, David Howard; and parents, William "Bill" David Campbell and Mattie Jane Pinkston Campbell.
Survivors include his brother, J. A. (Brenda) Campbell of Bulls Gap; sisters, Mary Day of Whitesburg, Helen Shiflet of Russellville; several nieces and nephews; a host of family and friends; lifetime friend, Jarrell Haun of Whitesburg; and special lady friend of 20 years, Nancy "Sweet Pea" Linkous of Morristown.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 30 from 5 – 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Ronald Bunch and Rev. Franklin Barnette officiating. Family and friends will meet in Cedar Grove Cemetery on Sunday at 1:45 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service.

I will always remember Jr. especially when I was in my teenage years for his smile and kidding jokes. I appreciate Jr. always willing to take time to assist Dad, especially during the last few years of Dad's life. My condolences go out to all of Jr.'s family with many thoughts and prayers.
