William Edwin Judson, Sr. was born on October 7th, 1930 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He died on September 12th, 2017, at the age of 86. He was the beloved husband of Antoinette Trapani Judson for 63 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mabel Miller Judson and father, Earl Judson. His is survived by his wife, Antoinette, sons William Edwin Judson, Jr. and Louis P. Judson and daughter-in-law, Heidi Allain Judson. He is also survived by his grandchildren; William E. Judson, III, Nicholas J. Judson, Sarah A. Judson and Zachary P. Judson; brother-in-law of Gaspar Trapani (Belver), sister-in-law Joann Trapani Dominguez (Robert), and a host of nieces and nephews. He retired from the Louisiana Air National Guard after 37 years of service to his country. He served as a para-trooper in the Army and he also worked for the Jeffeson Parish Sheriff's Office.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Aurora United Methodist Church, 3300 Eton St., New Orleans, Louisiana 70131 on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 12:00 PM. Visitation from 10:00 am until service time. Interment following in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, Louisiana. Reception to be held at Boomer's Down the Hatch, 1010 Fredricks St. Gretna, Louisiana 70056 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
