Terry and I have known Bill since 1958 and have had the pleasure of seeing him and Paddie on several occasions, (we live in the United Kingdom). Bill was always friendly and cheerful and full of compassion. A lovely, lovely man we are proud to call a friend always. You will be sadly missed Bill.

Bill was the switchboard supervisor for St. Joseph's Hospital and I was the tech who took care of the phone system. He was a great friend and we worked together and had a lot of laughs as well. I will forever remember him for a bit part in the 1974 movie, "It's Alive" which was filmed partly at St. Joseph's. We used to kid him about it and have "Dr Fairchild" paged. That was his character in the movie. We will miss you very much Bill.

I had the pleasure of working with Bill at Learjet here in Tucson for several years. Then years later, my husband and I would bump into him at Davis-Monthan shopping. It was always nice to talk about old times. He was a kind and funny man.

Bill, you were my best friend. I'm sorry I was so busy with my new job. I should have made more time to come hang out with you. You taught me so much. I'll always cherish the time we spent together and the laughs we shared. Your stories will always stick with me. The time we went to get a tarp at Harbor Freight and your accent had them all thinking you said top and not tarp. We really got a good laugh out of that. I really miss you buddy! I promised you I would check in on Cathy And Paddie and I'll keep my word, you know that. Till we meet again friend see you soon love you! Your Buddy, Big Red!
