William Carl Allen (47) of El Dorado, Arkansas, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock. William was born on May 16, 1966, in Lubbock, Texas. He was the fifth child and only son of Bill and Carrol Allen and had lived in El Dorado since 1974 when his father became minister at the College Avenue Church of Christ.

William married Dineen Risinger on April 21, 2000, and they lived in Parkers Chapel. William worked at Chemtura for eighteen years, and in 2011, he began Drake Energy where he was a partner. William was also a licensed auctioneer and owner of Bill Allen Auction Company. He was a member of the College Avenue Church of Christ. He was an avid hunter and longtime member of the Beech Creek Deer Camp, but William's passion was duck hunting, and he spent most of the duck season at the Boydell Country Club. William's greatest love was for his family, and he was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

William was preceded in death by his mother, Carrol Allen; his sister, Marilucy; his brothers-in-law, Mike Loe and Tommy Risinger; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his "adopted" grandfather, Wattie Hooker.

William is survived by his wife, Dineen Allen; sons, Garrett Benson, Brennan and Tanner Allen all of the home; his father, Bill D. Allen of El Dorado; sisters, Annice Hill and husband Keith of San Antonio, Texas; Susan L. Allen of Canyon, Texas; and Monty Robinson and husband Charles of Canyon, Texas. He is also survived by Dineen's family whom he loved as his own, Vicki and Max Risinger, Freda Fields, and Johnny Risinger all of Parkers Chapel; "adopted" family Willa Hooker and Bill Davis of El Dorado; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be tonight from 5:00-7:00 at College Avenue Church of Christ Family Life Center and services will be Saturday 10:00 am, also at College Avenue Church of Christ with Dr. Dan Williams, Bro. Kent Jobe, Dr. Keith Hill and Bro. Jack Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethel Methodist Cemetery on US 167 South.

Memorials may be made to the Camp Kurios fund, c/o College Avenue Church of Christ, P.O. Box 42, El Dorado, Arkansas.

An online obituary will be available at www.youngsfuneralhome.com.

"I only knew William from his auctions that I attended. I always felt like he was very honest. He ran a good auction and I will miss them." Rusty Hodge (Farmerville, LA)
