Macon – William Wiley "Billy" Allen,71, passed away Friday September 17, 2010. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday September 20, 2010 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery on Mt. Pleasant Church Rd. in Macon. Rev. Danny Lyles will be officiating.

Mr. Allen was born in Macon to the late Willie and Anna Potter Allen. He was retired from Southern Natural Gas. Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his wife Anna Allen.

Survivors include his children, Marlene Dalton (Phil) of Lizella and Jan Lewis of Macon; sister, Irene Kent of Gordon; brothers, Ed Allen (Marsha) of Bolingbroke and Willie Allen(Sandra) of Gordon; two grandchildren, Blake Wilson and Dillon Lewis; several nieces and nephews; and beloved pet, Bandit.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Sunday evening at the funeral home.
