Craig, Brian, Joanie, and Wade,
I did not know your Dad very well, but I do remember that he had a great smile, and I remember being at his house on occassion as a little girl.
He must have been a really great uncle because when I asked my dad (Don Anderson) if he knew that Uncle Bill had passed away he said "Oh..Uncle Bill. He was such a great uncle". From my Dad who rarely says much about family happenings that is quite a compliment.
Cherish your memories and feel blessed for the time you had together.
Love,
Cousin Tracy & Family

Dear Cousins,
So sorry to hear of Uncle Bill's passing. He has now joined his only brother and Uncle Bob for some good ole time ‘Boogie Woogie Heaven'
Knowing that Uncle Bill came from such a loving family and has passed that along over his lifetime, I'm sure has brought him loving peace in the end.
Love and Blessings to all of you, as we say goodbye to another direct descendent of the Anderson/Dolan clan.
Much love,
cousin Shelley

Dear Dad,
You could be onery, but so could I. I think you started the tradition of sending one of my brothers to my room with a cookie for me in the morning before I could talk to anyone.
Thank you for taking each one of us kids to Portland for our very first airplane ride when it was still free for kids to fly if you were 12 or under.
I will be missing hearing you cheer for those Husky dawgs and our many boogie-woogie duets played on the piano.
Love from your only daughter,
Joanie

Dear Joanie: We will always remember all the good times our families had together many years ago. Your mom & dad were our best friends we made in Seattle and of course Bob & Bill worked together for several years. Thanks for calling & letting us know of his passing. Bob & peggy

I will always remember Bill as humorous, witty and friendly with an easy smile and optimistic outlook. He has passed on some great genes in his four good looking kids (just a bit partial since I married his beautiful daughter).
I recall a warm summer day on his back deck when my oldest son Bryce was about four. Bill was sneaking a cigarette (hidden behind his back) when Bryce ran up to him. Bryce suddenly noticed the smoke slowly rising up from behind him and yelled to me "Grandpa is on fire!" Cool as ever, Bill said "Oh no, just a bit hot today". Really going to miss that quick wit.
I could never stump him on current events either. Even recently (as always) he could produce an amazing amount of information on just about any recent news topic. Guess I should go back to reading the daily paper instead of the internet.
From all the family stories I've heard it's pretty obvious he had a rich and wonderfully full life.
Will always miss you Bill,
Love,
Robin

Dear Joanie,
I am sorry to hear of the passing of your father. Even though I did not know him, I know how much he meant to you from the stories you have told me about growing up. I can see from the photos that you get your good looks from your dad! My how handsome he is! It is never easy to lose someone you love, I can only imagine how hard it must be to lose a parent. I look forward to hearing more about all the good memories you had growing up with such a wonderful father.
Love,
Lisa Woodle

To my wonderful cousins Craig, Brian, Joanie, Wade and Auntie Mary Ellen my deepest condolences.
When I think of your dad and brother I think of someone who didn't say much but was always delighted and humored by my company and me by his. He had such a quiet nature about him that I admired and when he smiled it was from the heart and with pure delight. He always seemed genuinely appreciative of any little thing.
As he got older and our families got together with all the cousins and their kids he would say to me: "Now Diane, who is that? Who does he/she belong to?" I knew that if he had to ask we sure weren't getting together enough.
I hope that Uncle Bill felt like Dad-that he had lived a wonderful life and life ended for him in a place that he wanted to be - at home. I send love and hugs to all of you and look forward to a celebration of life and more pictures.
Lots of love and care
Cousin Di
PS I will try to add pics if I can
