William Apgar Obituary

Apgar, William B. age 92, passed away on November 2nd, 2012. Born in Flagtown, New Jersey, he moved to Stuart, FL 12 years ago after residing in Pompano Beach for 30 years. After 32 years, he retired from the New Jersey Central Railroad. William served our country in the United State Navy during World War II. While in Pompano Beach, he was a member and an usher at the First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his daughters: Marta Zotta , husband Daniel, and Carole Heathcock, husband David; by granddaughter, Ashley Reamer, husband Brian; and by his great-grandson, Blake Daniel Reamer. A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 1500 S. Kanner Hwy., Stuart, FL 34994 on Sunday, November 18th at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Humane Society of the Treasure Coast (Misty's Pals), Attn: Helen Savill, 4100 SW Layton Road, Palm City, FL 34990.
