Truck Driver
Lake Wales – William "Bill" Edward Barr, age 96, of Lake Wales, FL died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 due to natural causes. He was born May 28, 1915 in Clarendon, PA, the son of Merle and Pearl (Patterson) Barr. He was a truck driver for United Refinery in Warren, PA. He was a member of VOICE in Lake Wales. He was a crossing guard for 10 years at Polk Avenue School.
Bill is survived by his wife Alta Mae (Doty) Barr, son: Roy (cindy) Barr, daughter: Jan (Don) Henrikson, sisters: Audrey McCullough and Valjean Slack, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Memorial services are Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11:00 am at the 1st United Methodist Church of Lake Wales.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.ottlaughlinfuneralhoome.com
