84, of Tampa, FL, passed away on Wednesday, July 30th. Born in Corpus Christi on April 5th, 1930, he was raised in Tampa and was a graduate of Jesuit High School. He and his twin brother served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Later he worked for Seaboard Coastline/CSX Railroad for over 30 years. Billy lived a colorful life and loved golf, the dog track, the horse track and all things sports, especially the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and college football. He is survived by his sons, Steve (Wanda), Patrick (Sharon); grandson, Brian; granddaughter, Marina; and twin brother, Herbert. There will be a gathering of friends and family from 4-6pm on Monday, August 4th at Blount and Curry Funeral Home-MacDill. Thank you to all who cared for him until the end.
