Dear Briley family,Please accept my condolences on your loss. I worked with Bill in the AG's office for a number of years and I know first hand what a fine man he was. I also know how proud he was of all of you and of your mother, his beloved Eleanor.
I was so sorry I couldn't attend the service for Bill. We were at our extended family Thanksgiving celebration. I know your holidays will be hard this year but that you will also have many wonderful memories to be thankful for. Sincerely, Ann Reed

Dear Briley,
Mr. Briley and my father, Sam Judge, were very good friends from Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Briley was a great support to my father in my mother's death in November 2011. I enjoyed talking with him on my visits to Raleigh. He was such a gentleman and will be sorely missed.
