William David Brown, 88, passed away December 15, 2010 in Lake Charles, LA. David worked as a superintendent at Davidson of Louisiana for 35 years. Mr. Brown was a veteran of the Battle of the Bulge in Bastogne during WWII. He is the oldest sibling of the pioneer family in Imperial Calcasieu parish. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 16 at the Hixson Chapel. Services will be at the Hixson Chapel Friday, December 17 at 1 P.M., with Pastor William "Bill" Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the care of Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder.

Left to cherish his memory is his son; David Clayton Brown and wife Leah of Longville, LA; granddaughter, Deisi Brown and grandson Joey Brown.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death his wife, Sally; brothers, Ralph, Frank, James, Eugene, John, Fred (Bo), one infant brother; sisters, Susan Brown and Mary Koonce.
