Bill Burson of Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully in his home on April 27, 2014 at the age of 70. Bill was born and raised in the Phoenix area. He was with the Phoenix Fire Department for 30 plus years "Fightin' Fires and Savin' Lives". He is survived by his children Michele Norberg (John), Terri Shepherd (Joe), Bill Burson, Jr. (Debbie) and Kim Bodendein (Dan). His grandkids Jamie, Kristin, Derek, Michael, Karen, Jake, Luke, Tim, Erin and Johnny. His great grandchildren Sophie, Jackson and soon to arrive Benjamin. His brother Terry (Gloria), and sisters Pat, Betsy "Jinx" (John), Bonnie (Dave), Shari (Ken) and Donna (Urban). As well as many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, his many friends and his long time furry companions Rosa and Zora. He was the spark in all of our lives, he was deeply loved and he will be greatly missed. A special thank you to the helping hands of Hospice of the Valley for their loving care along with the Phoenix Fire Department and Greenwood Memory Lawn for all of the arrangements. Memorial services will be held at Greenwood Memory Lawn at 2300 W. Van Buren in Phoenix on Saturday, May 3rd at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations made in Bill's name to the United Phoenix Fire Department Charities or Hospice of the Valley are appreciated.
