William Chapples Obituary

William Chapples, Tecumseh resident, passed away March 24, 2013 at the age of 91. He was born March 19, 1922 in Lequire, Oklahoma to William Mansfield and Annie (Herndon) Chapples. He married Lois Marie Bumgarner on April 25, 1942. He served in the US. Army during WWII, and was a purple heart recipient. He worked at Patterson Roofing for 18 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding horses. He is survived by his wife Lois Chapples, his three children; Peggy Ann Inman of Shawnee, Frances Marie Schmohe and husband Mark of Tecumseh, and Billy Ray Chapples and wife Lori of Newcastle, six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 9AM-8PM Wednesday March 27, 2013 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday March 28, 2013 at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel.
