William E. Johnson, of Arnold, Mo., passed away on November 13, 2012. Loving husband of Lessie Hoofman Johnson (nee Deeter) and the late Edith O. Johnson (nee Brooks). Father of William E. (Melanie) Johnson, Matthew E. Johnson, Nancy (Gary Johns) Braswell, Melissa A. (Carl) Croci, Priscilla S. (Paul) Thornton; stepfather of Dale (Pam) Hoofman, Joseph (Suzanne) Hoofman, John Hoofman, Emily Owens, Patricia (Gary) Gerrein, and Franklin (Kelli) Hoofman. Bill was an uncle, great-uncle, cousin and dear friend to many. He never met a stranger, loved fishing, hunting, reading, gardening, mushroom hunting, the St. Louis Cardinals, story-telling and travels with his loving wife Lessie and her siblings, Billy Deeter and Roberta Hall.

Vistation to be held at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo. on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 17 at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Interment at Mt. Pleasant United Baptist Church, Belleview, Missouri .
