We were very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was just at our home in Dewinton in September. We are the people who he got the trees from for the Stavely golf course. We have known Bill for over 40 years and he was a good friend. He was always laughing and had many stories to tell.
We will miss him greatly. Our prayers and thoughts go out to you at this time.

Ross, Tracy, Max and Shirley: Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss of Bill. Little did Tom and I realize when we first met Bill at a hockey tournament nearly 40 years ago, what a big part of our lives he was to become. We benefited greatly from his love of cooking and entertaining. I look back on countless dinners, impromptu picnics, fun road trips and golf games and realize what a hole he is leaving in all our lives. Please take comfort in the knowledge that he loved you all so much and was so proud of Max.

Tracy, I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was so good to get the trees for the Stavely Golf Club this past September, and we all really appreciated it. I remember staying with you and your family, way back when, and just us kids took the bus to Heritage Park. What an adventure that was for us country kids! Billy will be fondly remembered by everyone in Stavely.
