Obituary

CMSGT William H. Smiley passed away April 4, 2014 in Scott & White Hospital in Temple. A memorial servce will be held in his honor April 25 , 2014 at 3 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. He served in the United State Air Force and was a Viet Nam veteran and was a part of the 924th at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin until 1996, when he was restationed at Dobbins Air Force Reserve Base in Marietta, GA until he retired in 2004 and moved back to Texas, retiring in Killeen, He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold L. Smiley and Beulah Lester Smiley and a brother Ernest Smiley. Bill is survived by...

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold L. Smiley and Beulah Lester Smiley and a brother Ernest Smiley. Bill is survived by his wife Sharon, son Anthony Smiley and daughter Kimberly Milner and husband Martin of Copperas Cove; brother Dwayne Smiley and wife Candice of Lampasas; and sister Debbie Hamill of Kyle; and a sister-in-law, Cindy Casale of North Richland Hills. He is also survived by grandaughter Candace Smiley of Killeen, Kaylie Smiley of Leander, Ashley Williams of Killeen and a great- grandson Ethan Anthony of Killeen.
