Obituary

William Harman Taylor, Jr. beloved and devoted Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Uncle of St. Simons Island died March 18, 2014 at the Hospice of the Golden Isles. A memorial service will be held at Edo Miller's Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., Friday March 21, with the Reverend Wright Culpepper officiating. Surviving are his Wife, Linda R. Taylor of St. Simons Island, a Son, Richard H. Taylor (Whitney) of St. Simons Island; two Grandsons, Robert H. Taylor and Wesley H. Taylor; a Sister, Clarise Durden (Frank) of Forsyth, Georgia and four Nieces. The Monroe County native had been a resident of Glynn County for 25 years. He was a...
William Harman Taylor, Jr. beloved and devoted Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Uncle of St. Simons Island died March 18, 2014 at the Hospice of the Golden Isles.

A memorial service will be held at Edo Miller's Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., Friday March 21, with the Reverend Wright Culpepper officiating.

Surviving are his Wife, Linda R. Taylor of St. Simons Island, a Son, Richard H. Taylor (Whitney) of St. Simons Island; two Grandsons, Robert H. Taylor and Wesley H. Taylor; a Sister, Clarise Durden (Frank) of Forsyth, Georgia and four Nieces.

The Monroe County native had been a resident of Glynn County for 25 years. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia and was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He served as a past President of St. Simons Island Lions Club. He was an avid aviator. After the memorial service interment will follow later in Forsyth.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Golden Isles 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, Georgia 31525

Arrangements have been entrusted to Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home and Oglethopre Crematorium. .
