THOMASSON, William Kenneth, 67, of Tallahassee, Fla., formerly a longtime resident of Brandon, Fla., died Saturday, July 14, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Winnie Johnson Thomasson of Tallahassee, Fla.; son Sean Thomasson of Atlanta, Ga. and daughter-in-law Sarah Pelot Thomasson; aunt Dainty Lott of Shirley, Ark.; mother–in-law Fay Rooks Johnson of Tallahassee, Fla.; sister-in-law Georgiana Johnson Ungaro and brother- in- law James Ungaro of Brevard, N.C.; and many wonderful family members and friends. He graduated from Brandon High School in 1962 and from Florida State University in 1966, where he was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity and a staunch supporter of FSU, a member of the Tallahassee Quarterback Club and a member of the Tallahassee Seminole Club . He formerly owned the Brandon Dairy and Bill's Chain Saw and Mowers. Kenneth was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 19, 2012 with a service at 11 a.m., at Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon, Fla. Burial will immediately follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Project: 301 East Tharpe St., Tallahassee, FL 32303.
