He was a NY city firefighter for twenty-one years retiring in 1979. He loved being a firefighter and had many lifetime firefighter friends. He will be greatly missed by his wife and their children as he was the most loving and hardworking husband, father, and grandfather. He was well known for his delicious firehouse recipes, his sense of humor and was a loyal New York Yankee fan. He was a lifetime Roman Catholic. Bill was faithful and always reminding his children that he was going to heaven to be with his brother, Louis, and letting us know that “we will all be together in heaven some day”.
