I just found out about Will's passing today. I was at Steel Horse Harley-Davidson for some service work and saw Will's picture on the counter. I am saddened to learn that he is no longer with us. It is also evident that the staff at the dealership is still grieving over the loss of their friend and coworker.
I would usually see Will whenever I visited the dealership and he always struck me as a kind and gentle soul that was interested in helping people. I am a recipient of his assistance as well. Sometimes he would be a sounding board for an idea that I was considering and would often prompt options I had yet to realize; other times he understood the exact part that I needed to complete a task. I saw him interact with many customers and he always was personable and genuinely interested with each person he came in contact with.
I will miss his presence whenever I visit Steel Horse Harley-Davidson. My condolences to his family during this difficult time.

He was always willing to help others with out being asked to. He was always thinking of others before himself. I will certainly miss our friendship and riding together. Willy is a free spirit and will continue to be with us in our hearts and minds forever.

Will truly had a beautiful heart. He always had a smile for me and always stopped to talk to me no matter how busy he was. The story goes that when my motorcycle went down the call came into the shop and he was gone before anyone could even open their mouths to ask him to go. I watched him put my bike on the trailer from the back window of the ambulance, that's how fast he got there. It meant so much to me for him to care so much. I will always love you Will, and I will never forget your friendship to me. Michelle (Arduini) Conover from Steele Horse Harley Davidson

To William's Family: My wife and I have had the privilege of knowing William for the past 10 years since I've been a customer of the Harley store for quite some time. My first experience with William was when he helped me get my bike fixed after some nagging problems. He was patient, concerned and thorough in taking care of my problems and both my wife and I quickly realized what a good & decent man we had met! I've always felt good about taking my bike in for service knowing that William would somehow be involved. Recently he helped me with another issue and because he remembers so many customers and specifics about them, he knew my bike was still in warranty (even though I had forgotten) and saved me a lot of money by getting the work done under warranty. Lastly, William helped me on Saturday afternoon as I brought my bike in for another service. I was so pleased that he was there to help me. My wife and I left knowing that everything would be well taken care of because William had once again been there to help with our problems. The next day we were both devastated to learn of his passing and want you to know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless you. Tom & Suzi

I know it has only been a short few months of knowing you, but being your co-worker I feel like ive been added to a family with you. I will miss your smile and advice when it comes to cleaning a bike up nice, and the little treats you left on my counter. You are a wonderful person. This world has gone a little dimmer, but I will raise as much light to you as I can.
