William E. "Bill" White, 90, of Claycomo, Missouri, passed away in his home on February 3, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou White; two sons, Randy (Jolene) White and John White; and daughter, Tanis Casey; he is also survived by daughter-in-law Kathaleen Haley; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Iris White and son, David Haley. Bill was born on September 21, 1923, in St. Joseph, Missouri. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and retired from Burlington Northern Railroad in 1985. He was a lifetime member of the Charity Zeredatha Masonic Lodge #189 in St. Joseph, Missouri, and was also an active member of the Claycomo Baptist Church for more than 50 years. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors. Funeral service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, February 8th with visitation one hour prior at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Chapel, located at Highway 169 North and Shoal Creek Parkway. Burial with full Military Honors will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Claycomo Baptist Church, 312 E. Longfellow Street, Claycomo, Missouri 64119.
