Willis Lyn Craig, Jr., passed away on Wednesday, morning April 16, 2014 after a long illness at the Veterans Administration Memorial Hospital in Decatur, GA. He was in the Air Force during the Vietnam Era. After serving our Country, he attended Jacksonville State University where he studied law enforcement. He had a lifelong dream of being a Private Investigator.. Willis met and married Anna Craig while in school at Jacksonville State. In 1996 he became a private Investigator. Willis Lyn Craig, Jr., passed away on Wednesday, morning April 16, 2014 after a long illness at the Veterans Administration Memorial Hospital in Decatur, GA. He was in the Air Force during the Vietnam Era. After serving our Country, he attended Jacksonville State University where he studied law enforcement. He had a lifelong dream of being a Private Investigator.. Willis met and married Anna Craig while in school at Jacksonville State. In 1996 he became a private Investigator. He worked under Mr. John Roberson for many years until Willis went out on his own. Willis was a member of Ga Association for Professional Private Investigators. In 2001, Willis lost his mother due to a long illness with cancer. In 2002 Willis became an amputee due to Diabetes and went on to a full life. Willis taught Private Investigation and Security after that. Willis liked being called Santa Claus and got to play Santa one year four our Chiropractor. He had a big heart when it came to children. He loved Jesus and was a protector of anyone in need. Willis is survived by his Wife, Anna P. Craig, his father, W. Lyn Craig, Sr., and his wife Bonnie Craig, his brother Alan Craig and his wife Melinda, brother Ernest Craig and his wife Dale, sister Eva Wyatt and her husband Jeff, Anna's family, and all of his nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Willis had a lot of friends throughout his life. Mr. Craig's body is at Tara Garden Chapel in Jonesboro, GA., where the viewing will be held today from 4pm to 8pm. His funeral will be held at Georgia National Military Cemetery in Canton, GA., at 10:am Friday morning.
