Willomae Snavely was born on August 10, 1922 in Texas. She moved to Dinuba Ca. at an early age and graduated from Dinuba high in 1941. She was taken from us Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the age of 91.
She is preceded in death by her husband Carl Snavely, her sister Frances Osborne, and her brother Floyd Chumley.
Willomae is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Kaminski, Nancy Kilgore, and Katherine Smith; brother, Robert Chumley; her two children, Blaine Snavely and Susan Waters; six grandchildren, Robert Waters, Danine Waters, Becky Keldsen, Chad Snavely, Brent Snavely, Charlene Dyer; fourteen great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.
Willomae was a 50th year member of the Eagles Lodge in Reedley. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She will be missed. She is now with Carl the love of her life.
Visitation will be held at Stephens and Bean Chapel on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 1:00pm to 5:00pm
Graveside service will be held at Red Bank Cemetery in Clovis on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 10:00 am
Remembrances can be made to the Sierra View Community Church, 614 "O" Street, Sanger, CA 93657.
