Willy "Bill" Alton Brown, 76, of Liberty passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at the Randolph Hospice House.
Bill was a hardworking man who always had time for his family and he loved the Lord.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19 at 10:00 a.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow in Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 6262 Abernathy Road, Whitsett, NC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Bill was the son of the late James Walter Lee Brown and Ethel Jordan Brown and was also preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Rose Brooks Brown of the home; son, Terry Brown (Susan) of Randleman; daughter, Betsy Gray (Jimmy) of Liberty and 13 grandbabies that he loved so much: Angel (Dwayne), Brittney, T.J., Jessy, Houston, Jake, Thomas, Christian, Jeremy, Jimmy, Andrew, Joni (Daniel) and Roger; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Coble and brothers, Donnie and Marvin Brown.
At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the family to help with expenses. Donations may be mailed to Terry Brown, 11104 Randleman Road, Randleman, NC 27317.

You will be missed a lot but we know you are in heaven with the Lord. You always had a smile and loved your family very much. I know you and Bobby are having a good time together and catching up on all the time you have missed and waiting for the rest of your family to join you. I am so sorry to hear this. As a young child I would sit on his lap and tell him I was going to marry him and that Rose could not have him. He was suach a special person who always had a kind word and a smile for everybody. He will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.

It was always a wonderful surprise when you would drop by on Saturdays to visit with us. Everyone is right, you always had a sparkle in your eye and I loved to see you. So glad i came to the reunion. I know you and Jonie are having a ball now !
