Wilma Guthrie Graham, 84, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 7:00-8:30 pm at Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard, Denison, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, July 21, 2017, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1515 North Travis Street, Sherman, Texas with Rev. Craig Sturm officiating. Rev. Bradley Carroll will serve as the lector. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, 5805 Texoma Parkway, Sherman, TX 75090.
Pallbearer's will be Kurt Hughett, Jason Helm, James Kitchens Sr., James Kitchens Jr., Ronnie Garner and Mike Crisler.
Wilma was born September 14, 1932, in Tom Bean, Texas to Marvin C. Guthrie, Sr. and Cora Fay Miller Guthrie. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, enjoyed devotion in the Luther group, her devotion to serving the Lord and her family is what ultimately brought her peace.
She lettered as Guard for the Tom Bean Tomcats during high school years. She was a member of a gardening club in Lynchburg, Va, loved to cook for others, knit, making many afghans for her family & friends, and was an outstanding homemaker, a loving wife and mother.
She is survived by daughter Linda Graham of Denison, and numerous cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Lowell Curtis, Alvis Vernon, Hershell Paul, James Pleasant, William Leo, Marvin C. Jr., Bobbie Gene, and Mary Wayne Garner.
