Wilma Summers Arny, age 80, went to be with her Lord, on Monday, December 3, 2012.
She was born August 1, 1932, in Fairview, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Arlie H. and Ethel (King) Satterfield. Wilma lived most of her life in Akron, Kent, and Ravenna.
She is survived by her husband Harry L. Arny, Jr., sons: Terry (Jo) Summers, Ted (Maryanna) Summers, daughters: Debra (Ron) Nelson, and Lori Life; step-children: Wade Arny, April Arny, Matt Arny, and Mark Arny. Wilma is also survived by her grandchildren: Tia (Michael) Edwards, Jennifer (Chris) Schultz; Jessica (JW) Gantz, Patrick Caipen, as well as Kaely, Kyle, and Christopher Null; her 3 great-grandchildren, her sisters Mary "Madge" Shaver and Jean Pitzer, and her sister-in-law Thelma Satterfield.
Cremation has taken place and friends will be received Friday, December 7, 2012, from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM memorial service officiated by Pastor David Ballert at the Bethel Baptist Church, 745 N. Freedom St., Ravenna, OH 44266.
