Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Jeanne passed away on Tuesday, October 7th, at Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, after a brief illness at the age of 90. She was born on November 26, 1923 to John and Jessie (Henshaw) Gibson in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and moved to Oklahoma City shortly after her high school graduation where she began working for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She met and married the love of her life Clyde Wingard on November 26, 1955. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde L. Wingard; parents John and Jessie Gibson, and her oldest daughter Dianna Jaillite. Jeanne was a loyal a dedicated employee of Southwestern Bell for 36 years or as she lovingly referred to it as "Ma Bell". She was employed in numerous capacities while working for "Ma Bell" but was most proud of being a Chief Operator for many years. In her retirement years, she enjoyed spending time at her lake home located in Buncombe Creek at Lake Texhoma. Her grandchildren often speak about their wonderful memories of weekends and vacations spent with their grandparents at the lake. After the death of her husband, her attention turned to her home often spending sun up to sun down working in her yard. Her neighbors would often comment on her incredible energy as they watched her sweep and rake leaves, trim shrubs, clean gutters and plant flowers. She loved her home, her beautiful yard and the wonderful neighbors who kept an eye on her.
Jeanne is survived by three of her daughters, Roberta Gaston and husband Robin, Toni Bacus and husband Danny, and Lori Polk. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, David and Robie Jaillite, Michael and Jeffrey Sughru, Shane and Shannon Bacus and Tanner Polk along with her nine beloved great-grandchildren and her son-in-law, Warren Jaillite. The family would like to express their gratitude to her loving neighbors Rick and Darlene Hartford and Dr. Kevin Layton who spent tireless hours keeping her company and assisting her with whatever she might need.

"I miss you mom more than you ever thought I wood. I love you very much and miss you every day" Toni Bacus (OKC, OK)
