Winona "Winnie" Benoit Bonvillain, an angel sent from heaven on July 22,1932, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of John Peter Bonvillain for 61 years. She is survived by her son John Edward Bonvillain and her daughters Donna Bonvillain Cavallo (Tom) and Laura Bonvillain Jacobsen (George). Preceded in death by her parents Agnes Guillory Benoit and Ophe Benoit, and brothers Francis "Frankie" Misenhelter and John Curtis "Buddy" Benoit. She is also survived by her sisters Beverly Benoit Stiglets, Jean Benoit Plamann, Faye Benoit Kendrick, Jessie Benoit Mills and Suzanne Misenhelter...

Preceded in death by her parents Agnes Guillory Benoit and Ophe Benoit, and brothers Francis "Frankie" Misenhelter and John Curtis "Buddy" Benoit. She is also survived by her sisters Beverly Benoit Stiglets, Jean Benoit Plamann, Faye Benoit Kendrick, Jessie Benoit Mills and Suzanne Misenhelter Roby. Her grandchildren Karen Bonvillain Rogers (Jamie), Melanie Jacobsen Ferguson (John), Tori Coleman Weckesser (Charles), Jaime Jacobsen Gannard (Joey), Alessa Bonvillain Massey, Kelly Jacobsen Ramsak (Seth), Dara Coleman Ditcharo (Bennie) and Ryan Joseph Lassabe. Her great grandchildren Ashleigh, Earl, Hannah, Lindsey, Devin, Peyton, Jocee, J.D., Logan, Seth, Nicholas, Aiden, Brennan and many nieces and nephews.

Waiting to welcome her into heaven are her loving daughter-in-law Alessandra Crain Adams, grandson Dane Joseph Coleman and great grandson Joseph Alvin Gannard, Jr.

Winona was a longtime resident of Gretna, LA and a former employee of Bourbon French Parfum, Co., where she loved making custom blend perfumes for customers including Steven Tyler, William Shatner and Winona Ryder. She always had an open house, open arms and something delicious on the stove for everyone who stopped by. She doted on her entire family and her cats Heba and Eanie. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 8:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
