Billy, I am so sorry to read about Nona in today's paper. Sadly, it did not arrive in time for me to attend either the visitation or the funeral. I remember very well the time you, Nona, and our families stayed at BHS during Hurricane Frederick. She had just been out of the hospital for a cancer surgery. She was always at the football games and the after-game get-togethers at your house were always fun. I lost my mother Feb. 6 (age 95) so I sort of have a feeling how you must feel. I'm still grieving too. You and the girls are in our prayers.

I am so sorry for the loss of Nona. She was such a fine 'lady'. She and I grew up near each other and rode the school bus together on our way to Baker High. She was always kind to me and to every one she met. I am so thankful that a few years ago I had the chance to visit with her for an evening. She will be greatly missed by many.
