Yvonne and I golfed together at Thornhill Golf and Country club as we worked on match play events. She sure knew her golf and I learned lots from her. During my Tuesday visits at Sunnybrook I listened to some very interesting stories about this lady's rich life. A life well lived. Thanks Yvonne.......You will be missed....Love Marlene

On Friday, Heaven got another angel, my beautiful Grandmother Yvonne Alexander passed away in her sleep. I hadnt talked to her for a couple of weeks but for some reason i got a feeling to call her last thursday night and I was the last person to talk to her before she passed. Over the weekend I drove my Jeep up to Northern Arizona and laid out on the roof of the Jeep overlooking a canyon near Heber,AZ in 67 degree darkness. I watched the Perseid meteor shower in all its glory and enjoyed a couple bottles of wine, some s'mores, and some great company. At one point I said, I want to dedicate the next Shooting Star i see to my grandma and within a few seconds I saw an amazing blast of multiple meteors. One of the most spiritually uplifting nights of my life. Rest in Peace nana...
