Zachary Arthur Gertson age twenty three born in Houston, Texas on August 29, 1993. He moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1999. He graduated from North Kansas City High school in May of 2012. He attended Maple Wood Community College. He was pursuing a career in food management team at Taco Bell. He was a very bright and responsible young man. He was always helping in any way he could with his mother and grandmother and loved to spend time with his family.
At home, Zachary loved and cared for his dog Coco. He also spent his time with the family dogs Angel and Alie and his cat Lucky. Zach was a motorcycle enthusiast and a very avid photographer. He enjoyed how free he felt while he was riding. On the morning of March 22, 2017 Zachary was riding his motorcycle when an unfortunate accident happened that took his life too young and way too soon. Preceding him in death is his father Ronald E Gertson and his grandparents Doris and Donald Gertson.
He resided in his home with his mother Tracy Harmon Marin, brother Josh Gerson, grandmother Dixie Manlief, cousins Bree'Anna, Hannah and uncle Mickey Ehlers.
He is also survived by grandfather Melvin Harmon, brothers David Marin (daughter Jada), Joshua Gertson, Ron Gertson. Aunt Tammy Parker (Jeffery), cousins Aaron Parker (Ashley, daughter Brekyn), Amber Parker (son Briar, daughter Katya), aunt Terrie Langford (Don) cousins Angela (John, daughters Bree'Anna (Ricky) and Hannah, son Jayden) Alicia (Paul, daughters Danielle, Brittney, sons Tyler, Ethan, Austin) Amanda (Zach) son Kyle, Jonathan (Maggie, son Jackson), and Jeff (Cherita, daughter Lilyana), aunt Jamie Harmon Witschner (daughters Michelle, Jessica, son Cayden), aunt Jennie O'Donnell (sons Jacob, Justin), great Aunts Linda Cirignano (Gino) and Virgina Lozano (Pete), great Uncles Bill Weber (Juanita) and Mike Bolton (Maureen: deceased), honorary grandpa James; Many other cousins across the states, friends, and coworkers. He will be truly missed by all family and friends. He will be in our hearts forever and always.
Service 1:00pm Monday White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd Gladstone, MO 64119. Family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00pm Sunday at the funeral home. Interment Which Chapel Memorial Gardens.
