Spike and Donna Jones said it well about Buddy (as he was known in my family) being a "gentle, unassuming person, despite his accomplishments." He never went into depth about his achievements during conversations with him. Yet, those conversations were always enjoyable.
So, I would also like to extend my heartfelt condolences to his family and those who knew him.

Mr. Bud was a true gentleman in every sense. I immensely enjoyed working with him at Cooper Wiss and was truly saddened to learn of his passing. He was always kind, fair, wise, gracious, lovingly gruff and really knew his cutlery! He was the best boss anyone could ever wish for. My deepest sympathy to his family.

There are so many fond memories and shared experiences we had together throughout our childhood days. Buddy was more of a brother to me than a cousin. There will always be a special place in my heart for him and I will never forget Buddy, and I thank God that he has been a part of my life.
