To the Brewer Family, I would like to take this opportunity to say that Mr. James Brewer was a tremendous supporter of the NC Commission of Indian Affairs, in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he serve as a Commissioner for a number of years. During his tenure with the commission he represented the Indian people of Guilford and surrounding counties very well, and made sure that their needs and concerns were addressed. Through his work, he has left a wonderful legacy of hard work and dedication to our cause, that will forever be remembered. To the Family of James Brewer,
Please know I will be thinking of you all and remembering you in my prayers. I remember James from when my Daddy worked with him as a brick mason many years ago. My Daddy still talks about those days. May God's comfort be with all of you in the coming days.
