Archie Rondal Greathouse age 62 of Jonesboro passed away Wednesday at his residence. Mr. Greathouse was a retired truck driver and one who loved his family and grandchildren very much.Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday September 4th at 2:00pm in the chapel of Tara Garden Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Greathouse is survived by his wife Loretta Greathouse.Son, Scott Rose, Six daughters: Sharon G. Smith, Sandy Morris, Kari Watts,Esther , Lenor Steele, Ronda McCloud and Sotera Mae Lowe. Fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Five brothers: William, Lendal, Glenn, Paul David and Johnny Greathouse; Andrew and McKenzie Rose. Two sisters: Janis Peppers and Dona Sanders. He is preceded in death by his parents James Archie and Verna Mae McKinney Greathouse. Four brothers: James, Buddy, Cecil and Tona Greathouse. Two sisters: Lillie Belle Simpson and Elsie. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday September 3rd from 6 to 8 p. m. Tara Garden Chapel Funeral Home, 681 North Ave., Jonesboro, GA. 30236 (770)471-7171 are in charge of arrangements.
